A dynamic wind is blowing through Arodo. Some months ago we were able to get to know new general director Joost Van Aaken, whose aim is to further promote and internationalise the company’s high technology expertise in packaging machines. The team is well on course, production is at cruising speed, and that results in various vacancies needing to be filled. It was also under the auspices of Joost Van Aaken that a take-over has now been completed.
Further momentum from the take-over
“It came as no surprise to most colleagues that we were in search of a company for a take-over”, says Joost. “Before and after the passing of former owner Henk Mariën, the family wanted to leave the company to a candidate with potential. This was to be someone with a proven track record who could also help pilot Arodo into the future. He recently registered an interest. The discussions went smoothly and the take-over is complete.”
Filip Rochette is to become the owner of Arodo through his Holding Filroc BV. Born and bred in the Kempen, he is a fixture in the machine building world who has been internationally active in industrial installations. “In Filip, Arodo gains extra momentum and full support to carry on making the difference for customers at international and technological level”, concludes Joost. “Little else will actually be changing. Arodo stays Arodo, with head office in Arendonk. This will come as great reassurance for our employees, who are fully trusted to further our shared ambitions for growth.” Joost obviously stays board as a director.
We welcome Filip and wish him every success!
